Originally dubbed the Shield of Sobieski by Johannes Hevelius in 1684, The Scutum constellation sports 7 stars, ranging from brightest red giant (Alpha Scuti) to yellow white (R Scuti). It also includes a polarized neutron star and Messier object, the Wild Duck cluster. All of these are showcased in coordinating shades of Imperial Jade, with hematite and mermaid glass accent. Shields are made to guard, and the Scutum follows suit offering grounding, increasing courage & strength, a double dose of protection & deep harmony.Â
The Scutum bracelet (Constellation Collection) features (7) 8mm imperial jade beads (orange, yellow, white), (20) plated hematite disc spacers, (10) 10mm silver tone stamped metal accents (small size has 8), (1) 8mm plated hematite bead, (1) 8mm white mermaid glass rondelle & (1) wooden block logo bead. Double strand nylon stretch cord.
The Scutum is a heavy bracelet with a comfortable fit. It is available in S/L sizes (please see description and photo). Unless you need a very snug fit or have a smaller wrist, large size is suggested. Stones in the Scutum are color matched as closely as possible, however natural variations will occur.
