As our Democracy gasps for air under the authoritarianism of a few greedy men, It’s easy to become overwhelmed, depressed and scared.

“What can I do?”

“How can I fight?”

“How do we stop them?”

“It’s all too much for me.”

There are no easy answers in a society where lack of empathy, transparency and mass public gaslighting is the daily norm. However, take heart. Our Nation was founded on the premise that we reject tyranny, and fight together to overcome oppression as a United Front. There are more of us than there are of THEM.

Taking back your individual power and voice is essential for the long battle we now face as the American people.  Find one or two issues that resonate with you the strongest and focus on speaking up for those. Whether it’s making calls to representatives, participating in our right to peaceful assembly, making art, or simply being kind to your fellow humans, all are valid and important.

I thought to myself, what can I personally do?

I decided one way was to create some pieces to help inspire and focus individuals on the task at hand. The Resist bracelet is one such piece.

My hope is that many will be inspired by this and when you wear it, you are reminded of the power and promise we each hold, and how great a force we are when we pool our collective energies together to enact change.

The three faceted snowflake obsidian focals signify the #3E movement to End Oligarchy, End Impunity, and End Autogenocide. I very much see their striking patterns as the struggle of light against dark. These stones help balance the mind/body/spirit, soothe inner storms, boost confidence, aid in muscle tension and detoxification, and aid in calming inner conflict.

The colors of the Stars & Stripes are represented with red agate, blue lapis lazuli, and white quartz.

Each powerful in their own right, these stones will help to tap into your third eye, channel and amplify energy, and promote spiritual discipline and endurance.

No warrior should enter a battlefield without armor, so I included lots of bold silver plate hematite heishis and hematite barrels. These stones will help ward and repel the negative energies that are unleashed on us daily, as well as grounding you and tapping your Root Chakra.

Last but not least, I chose Labradorite for its transformative properties. An exceedingly powerful stone, Labradorite will help protect, enhance awareness/psychic abilities, alleviate stress, inspire creativity, and boost resilience in the face of adversity.
