Black Howlite may be a dyed mineral, but I have quickly fallen in love with its reassuring and reconciling properties. Unlike other protective stones such as Obsidian and Black Tourmaline that have a tendency to be quite ferociously defensive, the serene tone of the Howlite really gives this stone more of a comforting guardian kind of vibe… like falling into the arms of someone you cherish at the end of a trying day.
