Description

This little 3- piece sailor style set is made with all cotton fabrics. The doll outfit will have its own listing and a combined listing of all 6 items, for a 3rd listing. This listing is for the girl 3 items which includes the white, fully lined Sailor hat, a fully lined crop top and shorts. The hat brim is edged in navy piping and then several rows of stitching around. It has a coral appliqued starfish. The crop top main fabric is navy and white gingham check, it has a white sailor collar, that is trimmed in navy grosgrain ribbon and piping. there is a bias-cut gingham check inset, which is decorated in white grosgrain white ribbon. A navy tied bow tops it off. The shorts have an elastic waist, made of the same gingham check, white grosgrain white ribbon and 3 appliqued starfish. You can order in sizes 2-6. Hi. My name is Jeanette. I learned to sew by hand, even making my own doll dress patterns. By the time I turned 8 years old I was allowed to sew on the sewing machine. I also do hand embroidery, smocking, heirloom and French hand sewing. My husband and I moved to a farm in Oregon and raised two sons and many farm animals. I owned and operated a grooming shop for 25 years. But my love has always been sewing and needlework. I generally sew most days a week. I really enjoy sewing for babies, toddlers and girls up to size 6.
