Description

An old fashion pattern was used to make this unisex bubble/sunsuit. I used Imperial Batiste Cotton fabric is a cornflower blue. The photos show it in different shades. The closet to the actual color is the darkest photo. I had pleated and hand smocked front straps. You can tie the belt on or leave it loose as a bubble. The peter pan style collar and sleeves hems are hand embroidered in a feather stitch. This snaps in back with decorative buttons on top. Snaps at the bottom for diaper changing. This is only one size, 12-18 months

About Sugar Bug Baby Boutique Two

Hi. My name is Jeanette. I learned to sew by hand, even making my own doll dress patterns. By the time I turned 8 years old I was allowed to sew on the sewing machine. I also do hand embroidery, smocking, heirloom and French hand sewing. My husband and I moved to a farm in Oregon and raised two sons and many farm animals. I owned and operated a grooming shop for 25 years. But my love has always been sewing and needlework. I generally sew most days a week. I really enjoy sewing for babies, toddlers and girls up to size 6.
