Description
The tip of a shed whitetail deer antler has been hollowed out to hold 50 grains of black powder. The face of a grizzled old mountain man, complete with a feather in his fur hat, was carved into the side. The tip is 5″ long and it is on a 30″ leather neck strap.

I have a masters degree in art and worked as a professional artist/craftsman for over 50 years in another media. Now semi-retired, I am pursuing my interests in traditional archery and black powder muzzle loaders, attending rendezvous and reenactments. I have worked in leather since I was a teen, and carved wood as long, so it was only natural that I find it interesting to make items for my hobbies… I just make more than I can use myself!
