How to Withdraw Funds

Payment Methods

In order to withdraw funds, you need to ensure you have at least one payment method enabled on your account. In order to see your payment method settings you’ll need to go to the vendor dashboard and enter the “Payment” Tab under Settings.

Payment Method Options

The Two Payment Methods supported by My Community Made include PayPal and Stripe. You are allowed to choose either one, or both, as your Payment Method of choice. To add a payment method, you just need to click the button titled “Add Payment Method” and select one of the three options to add.

You’re probably wondering why there are three options when there are only two Payment Methods you can choose from. The third option, titled “Manual” is meant for special cases where you only utilize either PayPal or Stripe, but the customer has paid using a different Payment Method that you don’t support. In order to ensure that you can withdraw your funds, you occasionally need to add the email associated with your PayPal or Stripe account to the manual field so that you can ‘withdraw’ without needing to sign up with Stripe or PayPal when you already have one of those payment methods enabled.

When I receive a withdrawal request from manual, I check which payment method you have on file and use the email provided in that field to ensure you receive your money.

Withdrawals

To initiate a withdrawal, you’ll just want to go to your “Withdraw” tab in your vendor dashboard. Once you have a completed order, you’ll see that the money you’ve earned is shown at the top of this withdrawal page. When you’re ready to receive your funds you just need to click, “Request Withdrawal” and we will get to work sending you the money you’ve earned.

I Received an Order, But I Don’t Have Any Funds Available for Withdrawal?

Typically, this is caused by one of two situations. If you use Stripe as your Payment Processor of choice, then after each purchase your earnings are automatically ‘withdrawn’ to your account, meaning you won’t need to trigger a withdrawal in the first place. Another cause could be that you haven’t set the order to ‘complete’ in the orders tab of your vendor dashboard.
