From My Community Made Seller Everything Handmade

I created a Facebook page for my shop.  I hoped that it would generate traffic to my shop. Recently, I saw 2 people posted comments on one of my pages. I posted pictures of items in my shop and that I would be attending a craft fair that weekend. Their posts insinuated that I was a scammer and dishonest. They insinuated that I was selling booth space at this fair. They also said they were the only one who collects those fees. I personally know the person who organizes this craft fair and she collects the fees for these booths and they are nit her.  There was no mention in my post about booth fees. It seems the only interaction I have on Facebook regarding my shop are scammers. I am thinking about closing my Facebook page. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone would share how they advertise. I hope everyone has a great day. Thank you for reading my blog.

About Everything Handmade

My mom taught me how to sew when I was in junior high school.  When I entered high school, I became interested in crochet and knitting.  I taught myself to knit and crochet.  After I retired, my interests grew into woodworking, jewelry, holiday decorations, cross stitch, hand and machine embroidery and quilting.  When my grandkids were younger, I always made their birthday cakes. Making pastries for my family during the holidays is something both my husband and I enjoy.

I participate in craft fairs at the end of the year.  I have had many customers return to my booth to let me know the compliments they receive from the apparel they have bought from me.  Some of my customers have returned to purchase other items for the loved ones or additional apparel for themselves.

I greatly enjoy making every item in my booth and store.  Most of all, I am exceedingly happy when my customers return to share their pleasure and satisfaction they have for my products.

I hope you will visit my shop and follow me for added items.

Thank you!
