Description

This small table is made from beautiful Black Walnut. Inlaid into the top is a white Quartz spiderweb, with a spider (Red Jasper and Citrine, with Black Tourmaline legs) waiting to pounce on an unsuspecting victim. The entire piece is finished with multiple coats of Lacquer for a soft shine, rests on wooden ball feet. Measures 12″ x 8″ x 2.5″.

This table can be used as a display table for a small sculpture, used as a plant stand, book rest, or use it as a Tarot table or spirituality altar.

Every inlay table I make is a labor of creativity and craftsmanship. I take pride in attention to detail, “reading” the grain patterns in the wood, feeling the natural energies, and selecting the best gemstone inlay to achieve the desired finished product. You can be assured that you are purchasing not only a quality Artisan level piece, but one that you will be proud to gift to someone, or keep as a family heirloom.

About Wood Spirit Designs

I have been working with wood and stone since I was in my teens.  I love the endless variety of colors, textures, shapes and energies that each piece of wood, stone, and crystal hold as their own.  Harmonizing them into a unique and special creation is a very fulfilling and relaxing process.  My items range from simple wood timber candle holders, to intricately designed pieces that feature delicate gemstone inlays. Each project starts the same way, with woods being carefully studied, "reading" the grain patterns and natural energies, and, if it contains inlay, selecting the best gemstones to harmonize into a finished piece.  The result is a one-of-a-kind artisan quality item that you will be proud to keep as a family heirloom, or present to someone special as an unforgettable gift.

Please look around to see if there is something that speaks to you.
