Every SewLoveApron is carefully hand-crafted. Made from 100% high-quality cotton, the aprons are made to work hard and look good doing it.
Â
Attention to detail is what sets SewLoveAprons apart. Crafted in a garment style, all seams are reinforced and finished. Sashes and ties are made of fabric rather than ribbon, bias tape, or sewing tape. This gives a more finished appearance.
Â
All fabric is prewashed, preshrunk, and tested for color fastness. If the color bleeds, I will not use it. All finished aprons are again washed, dried, and ironed. This gives me a chance to go over every detail for quality assurance.
Â
The job of an apron is to keep your clothes clean. To enhance this protection SewLoveAprons are lined where they need it the most. On the bib-style apron, the bib is fully lined. The butcher style is 2/3 lined to keep you protected but cool. All children’s aprons are fully lined.
Â
Style is an important factor in my work and I strive to create a look that makes you say WOW! And oh, those pockets, my greatest joy and challenge all in one! Each apron is unique except in a rare case where a particular style is requested and the fabric is available.
Â
Cost is an important issue with any purchase, I try to keep my costs down so that I can keep your costs down. I am always on the hunt for fabulous fabrics at reasonable prices. You may see variations in pricing, for this reason, if I find great stuff on sale, I pass that on to you.
Â
I am happy to work with you to create a custom apron. Be aware if I can only find full-price fabric it will impact the price of the apron.
Â
A bit about handmade. While attention to detail is my strong suit you may still find an irregularity. A tiny crooked area in a long seam for instance. If you see it, believe me, I saw it. As I have learned over years of sewing there is a fine line between ripping and fixing and ripping apart! If it does not affect the overall quality and is not readily apparent, I may not try to fix it as it may just make it worse. Nothing goes on sale if I would not be willing to pay for it myself.
Â
My greatest wish is that you feel fun and beautiful in your SewLoveApron and that it lasts you for many happy years.
