Vendor Biography
My story is a simple one. I’be always been a creative person, and a curious mind has pushed me to explore all kinds of craft. Though a dark and dreary time, the abundance of free time due to the COVID-19 pandemic rekindled by passion for not only baking (why, yes, of course I made my own sourdough! haha) but sewing, too.
The aim of bringing Linen & Loom to market is to share my passion for creating with you by way of simple, functional home textiles that get a little pop from, perhaps, a unique novelty fabric or see life as something humble like a bread bag – made of sturdy linen or linen/cotton blends. If I could offer a hundred things here I would but it’s just me so it’s a smaller assortment than some other shops but intentionally so in order to offer you a quality piece of handmade love instead of chasing a mass-market piece where its clear corners were cut for the sake of volume or expediency.Â
Home, comfort, handmade is more than a catchphrase, it’s an ethos: you’ve made an informed decision to shop here at Linen & Loom/My Community and I wholeheartedly respect that you could have gone elsewhere  — but you are here. It’s my job to make what I offer here always live up to the standards implied in those three words.
I hope you enjoy what I make half as much as I enjoy the work and love sewn or quilted into each and every piece — Thank you!
