I’m Elliott Walker — writer, maker, vintage machine whisperer, dog-dad, and unapologetic believer that life’s too short for cheap gin or poorly made goods.

After years of frustration with modern machines and their “reliable unreliability,” I turned to the all-metal workhorses of the past — the ones built to last, hum steadily, and never complain (well, unless you forget to oil them). These old beauties are the heartbeat of Linen & Loom, my small studio dedicated to crafting simple, functional, beautifully made home essentials.

Each piece I create is stitched with intention — inspired by a time when quality and care mattered more than speed or flash. My approach is small-batch and seasonal: at the start of each month, I announce what’s in the works and open a short pre-order window. This helps me make only what’s needed, reduce waste, and stay true to sustainable craftsmanship — no assembly lines, no shortcuts, just honest handmade goods meant to last.
