Wrap Around Design ‘Fish’ of Paua Shell, Cultured Freshwater Pearls on Sterling Silver

This is one of my ‘wrap around’ designs, featuring the ‘fish’.
The hand wrought neck wire is 16.75″ from end to fish nose. It is of sculpted Sterling Silver, wire wrapped with Sterling Silver wire to set the Paua Shell slices, Cultured Freshwater Pearls in dark blue, light blue, cream and white in a variety of sizes and shapes. There is also Swarovski Crystals in 4mm and 3mm, in opal and peridot, also tiny German Iridescent shells.
The theater of the fish is 5″ by 5″. I have designed the piece so that it hangs lightly about the neck and rest comfortably on the decolletage.
My maker’s mark is on the neck wire.
