Description
This handmade walnut and mahogany wooden knife can be used to cut cake or as a serving knife for cheese, or other items. The walnut in this knife is unusual. in that it has some distinctive lighter streaks in the wood.
The knife is approximately 12 inches long with a blade length of 6-1/2 inches. This is a nice sturdy knife-made to be used. A short piece of rawhide has been attached if you care to hang the knife on the wall. If you don’t want the strap, just cut it off or untie it.
Each knife that I make is handmade by me using a combination of power and hand tools. A significant amount of shaping was done using a hand plane and hand sanding.
Care Instructions: Do not place the knife in the dishwasher! Hand wash only and then dry the knife. Apply a food grade cutting board oil as needed.
Although this knife is made of wood, it is not a toy. The cutting edge and point are sharp.
