A Vintage 1980s Peplum dress, in Red & Black Check Size 8, made by jackie bernard For Eklektic. Fabric is 90% Rayon/10% Wool. The shoulders are padded with a Dolman sleeve that was prominent during the 80s. It has a collarless neckline, a peplum waist, a hidden front button placket and front zip skirt under the peplum waist to make it easy to slip into. The straight skirt is slightly pleated at the waist with a kick pleat vent in back also. The approximate measurements: bust 38″, waist 28″, hips 36-38″, shoulders 20″, sleeve 22″, length from waist to hem 22″ and shoulder to hem 39″.  It’s more a fall/winter dress since the woven wool blend gives this dress a little heft.
