Viking Saex Knife

Custom made  Saex style knife. Sharpened blade length is 10 inches, overall length 15 inches. Blade is reworked, vintage “Forminga” marked steel with bloodwood and horn grip. Comes with fitted leather sheath as seen in photos. A true one-of-a-kind fit for real world use as well as looking great on your belt at Rennaissance Faires, reenactments etc. You will receive the exact knife shown in pictures.

Old Norse started as two high school friends venturing to local Renaissance Faires. We saw tents and booths decorated with amazing items, but were especially drawn to the large round Viking shields. The problem? They were never for sale, only decoration! So we set out to make our own, and over time fell in love with the Viking/Norse culture. While our shields are still our favorite things to make, we have ventured into forging knives, axes, and other metalworks, as well as kids toys and home décor. All of our items are hand-made by the two of us, never out-sourced or imported. If you have and idea for a custom item please ask.
