Description
In GOOD reading condition. Books lean. Considerable damage to the spines as the green canvas is cracked, split and peeling with missing pieces. Gold gilt decorative features upon the spine and cover are still vibrant. Binding in tact but split at front cover of first Volume and negligible on the second volume. Handwritten inscription in pencil on front endpaper dated 1890, same of publication date. Some markings are present throughout in the form of penciled notations within the margins which adds a nostalgic aspect to these highly collectible and rare edition books. No apparent missing nor torn leaves.
Each Volume measures 9″ x 6 1/2″ x 1 3/4″
