Report AbuseAbout Claireified by Claire
ClaireifiedbyClaire started during the summer of 2020 during the COVID-19 shutdown.
Having just finished her junior year of high school, Claire was getting bored sitting at home with nowhere to go and nothing to do. Wanting to do something and possibly start a business to help pay for college, CbC was born.
Claire’s father had made soap when Claire was a baby and one fateful night, Claire asked “do you have any soap stuff left?” The next day, Claire and her father started working on what recipe to use, where to find the fragrances to match Claire’s fandom ideas, and what should be used for coloring. After a few weeks and a bunch of bad batches of soap, everything came together.
Claire’s idea was to make fandom-inspired soaps with Disney being the inspiration for Castaway Breeze (inspired by Castaway Cay) and Pineapple Whip (inspired by Dole Whips). Claire’s next idea was to make Supreme Leader (inspired by Kylo Ren) and Claireified by Claire took off.
Claire made soap every evening after school and soon had soaps inspired by Disney, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Supernatural, Avatar The Last Air Bender, Marvel, Halloween, Christmas, and more. When not making soap, Claire designed stickers to compliment her soap and now there are over 130 different soaps and over 120 different stickers and decals.
With the quickly increasing quantity of soap batches and orders, CbC quickly became a family effort. Dad fulfilled orders during the day (CbC resides within the warehouse of WoodworkingParts.com) and Mom came by after work to help bevel and label soaps.
Claire is now a student at the University of Tampa, majoring in Sport Management with minors in Business Administration and Spanish.
Mom and Dad continue to make soap and fill orders while Claire is at school and Claire is still working on ideas, stickers and marketing while at school and makes soap whenever she has time at home.
