Description
Has it been a long winter? Here’s a fresh Spring bag for you! It’s the Redwood Tote by Noodlehead Designs! Nothing announces SPRING like the lovely rocks flower! As you wait impatiently for the real deal, enjoy your own little crocus display on this tall, slim tote! I made this bag with supple, glazed faux leather, designer Japanese canvas panels, and lined it with soft green, cross hatched cotton. Hardware is antiqued brass. Redwood has a generous exterior slip pocket, as well as a zip pocket. Lining has a divided slip pocket and a zip pocket perfect for securing credit cards, license, folded cash, etc. A zipper closes the whole purse along the top edge, and 4 brass feet keep the bottom off the floor. This sweet bag can be carried by the handles as a satchel, or on the crook of your arm. Want it hands-free? Just hook on the adjustable cross body strap & be on your way!
Dimensions: 10.5″ at base x 13″ tall by 3.5″ deep. Weight: 1 pound, 6 Oz

Hello…so nice to meet you, if only virtually!Â
My name is Jean Anne Lake, and my brand’s name is Handcrafted by J. Anne.
When I retired from a 50-plus year career as a community pharmacist, I had no real need for a closet full of clothes of my own making! My husband & I live in a rural area of the beautiful Texas Hill Country, and we enjoy a quiet, secluded life. Home is where I want to be!
I have been a sewist since age six, and often made clothing for myself & our kids. Kids are grown, I’m retired and blessed with good health & creative energy! Those are the primary reasons I started making bags. I found bag making to be a highly satisfying way to spend my time and fill my need to create beautiful, useful things .
I started my business in 2018. I sell at local markets that specialize in handcrafted goods – ideal for me, but not many out here!
Imagine my delight when I became aware of My Community Made, an online platform offering only handcrafted items and vintage goods!
I am offering many styles of my finely crafted bags here because it is very rewarding to sell high-end quality work at affordable prices because I sell directly to you, with no middleman!Â
I understand why you may hesitate to purchase such a personal product with only pictures & textual product descriptions to see. If you want to know anything about an item, hit the “learn more” button. I can tell you whatever you need to know because I do all the cutting & stitching myself!
I would love to have you as a client and hope to be of service to you soon. Thank you for your time!  J.Anne
