About Esbee Art N' Cards
Susan Barackman is a versatile artist best known for equine and cat art,  landscapes, western art and pet portraits. She drew her first horse at age 4 and went door to door as a child selling drawings for 25 cents. Â
Though many of Susan’s paintings are realistic she is skilled in many styles. The energy and freedom of the being versatile in many styles allows her to create freely. She is skilled in various media including graphite pencil, colored pencil, watercolor and acrylic.
Her art has garnered awards both locally and nationally. Her western and landscape paintings are in the private and corporate collections such as Baylor Hospital and Cactus Saddlery.
Born in NY of full Italian heritage and raised in southern California, she has lived in  Texas most of her life,  where she had a 27 year teaching career. Even so, she still made time for her horses and art. Â
