Description

Handturned ornament in Spalted Maple 6 inches tall.

This item was turned freehand at the lathe using no duplication methods.  “Spalted” is a reference to the marbled zone lines seen in the red maple. This coloring is unique and no two pieces are alike. The wood is finished in a non-toxic shellac.

Please enjoy the work that is coming out of this small shop nestled between the French Broad River and the Pisgah National Forest, not too far from the Appalachian Trail.
