Original Oil Painting on 18”x24” Canvas with Hardwood Walnut Float Frame

Description

This is an original oil on 18” x 24” canvas that is mounted in a solid floating frame. I am the artist and the carpenter and selling both the painting and the frame. The frame is made of solid walnut and has maple splines in the corners for both additional strength and contrast. The miters are connected using floating tenons, so this is a frame that will stay square. It includes the hanging hardware, which is a French cleat system. A float frame this size, but using low quality materials costs around $150 at the chain stores. So, this is a great deal considering the structural integrity, the use of solid hardwood, the hanging hardware, and of course the oil painting. I also make custom sized frames in other wood species.
