Description
This dual colored handmade ash and tigerwood wooden knife can be used for cutting cakes or other serving needs. It also would make a nice gift for someone including yourself. It is a unique handmade item!
The ash in the blade is an American wood. The handle is made from tigerwood or Gonzalo Alves which is native to Brazil.
The knife is approximately 11.75 inches long with a blade length of 7.25 inches. This is a nice sturdy knife-made to be used. The knife has been finished with two coats of food grade cutting board oil. A short piece of rawhide has been attached if you care to hang the knife on the wall. If you don’t want the strap, just cut it off or untie it.
Each knife that I make is handmade by me using a combination of power and hand tools. A significant amount of shaping was done using a hand plane and hand sanding.
Care Instructions: Do not place the knife in the dishwasher! Hand wash only and then dry the knife. Apply a food grade cutting board oil as needed.
Although this knife is made of wood, it is not a toy. The cutting edge and point are sharp.
