About Darling Made Designs
I started making ties over 20 years ago for a family member who loved bow ties. I then began to make custom ties for a local bridal shop. Since neckties require a full yard of fabric due to a long diagonal cut, I ended up with a lot of scrap silk and began to look for was to use it in other things. I find used suit coats and make them into silk lined handbags and small makeup bags, make silk flowers and try them into hair clips, fascinators, and magnetic pins.
