Description

This baby bubble/romper is made in the 1940’s of baby clothes. Cotton Pink floral print has colors of pinks, red, yellow, green and periwinkle. It has tiny yellow butterflies and other designs. The middle panel in front is made of Imperial Batiste Periwinkle and that is also used for the collar and sleeve bands. Handcrafted baby pink piping is used to outline the two fabrics, collar and sleeve bands. I used some of the print design to hand embroider on the collar. The top of the center panel is hand pleated and hand smocked. The colors used are Light Pink, Medium pink and green. Snaps for diaper changing at the bottom. Buttons in back with vintage buttons. Sizes you can order are Infant, 3-6 months, 9-12 month or 18 months. Size in stock is 3-6 months.

About Sugar Bug Baby Boutique

Hi. My name is Jeanette. I learned to sew by hand, even making my own doll dress patterns. By the time I turned 8 years old I was allowed to sew on the sewing machine. I also do hand embroidery, smocking, heirloom and French hand sewing. My husband and I moved to a farm in Oregon and raised two sons and many farm animals. I owned and operated a grooming shop for 25 years. But my love has always been sewing and needlework. I generally sew most days a week. I really enjoy sewing for babies, toddlers and girls up to size 6.
