I’m always creating new designs and testing new ideas with my friends and my family. My incredible husband, listening to my endless chatter of possibilities, decided to buy me a CNC plasma cutting system! This will allow us, together, to create metal and glass enameled elements to all the projects “humming” around in my head. I can’t wait to introduce these new unique products, once thoroughly tested.

My connection with hummingbirds, like so many people I talk with, is actually sweet memories of my Grammy and annual visits with my family to her home in Maine when I was a kid. She had hummingbird feeders just outside of her kitchen window, where her hummers would endlessly compete for Grammy’s sweet nectar. Whether we were inside the house, watching Grammy make her fresh homemade buttermilk biscuits (a beloved daily activity) or out in the yard taking turns riding with Grampy on his big tractor and ringing their bell (which I always thought could be the liberty bell) in the front yard. Those hummingbirds never failed to entertain me and my Grammy LOVED them so much. I think of her every time I see a hummingbird in my yard. In that way, she will always be with us (I couldn’t possibly duplicate her biscuits).

My unique design has been well received for many years by hummingbirds and humans alike, from Alaska to Puerto Rico and from Nova Scotia to Southern California to Central America.

My hummingbird feeders have been featured in Birds & Blooms Magazine, the North Georgia Coast Wild Garden Society, local Master Gardeners, regional garden clubs throughout America and even made it on the cover of a magazine in Turkey. I strive, with inventive creativity, to build products with superior function, that not only ARE beautiful, but help preserve the beauty of our amazing planet. These feeders are built to last. This is the legacy I leave for my children’s children. As my family celebrates our connection with Grammy through hummingbirds. We can now embrace that connection further by hanging my hummingbird feeders, the same ones I hang in my own yard, generation after generation.
