Copper Trinket Dish – Mountains and Bears

This dish was handmade in heavy, 16 gauge copper. The copper was hand sawn from sheet copper then softened with heat from a jewelers torch. A pattern was chosen and the copper was rolled through a manually operated rolling mill to imprint the pattern into the metal.

Once the pattern was complete, a manually powered press was used to form the shape of the dish. It was then finished by hand. A patina was applied to help those pattern details pop off the metal. The patina will naturally enhance over time, almost giving a dark wood appearance.

The dish measures 3 inches long by 2 inches wide and is the perfect size to hold your pocket change or to keep your rings safe.
