Commission a panting on music to brighten a day, encourage, honor, or to help you treasure memories with unique art. Add hymn title and subject to Order Notes.
What I need from you, so that I can personalize your original Glimpse of Melody, Ink and Wash Painting on Music.
Provide names of favorite hymns: Music title or first line. A list of three options is most helpful as not all music pages have suitable paper, a full hymnal page, available, or on a single page. I have several hymn/song books and continue to add to my collection of vintage hymnal and music books. I will be happy to search for your favorite hymn/music page.
Provide inspiration for painting subject: A treasured memory, part of song that speaks to you or the recipient, images, a favorite color, flower, building, family homestead, church, favorite place, botanicals, garden, nature scene, lake, river, animal, bird, insect, fruit, still life object, tea cup, truck, etc. I love to sketch and paint nature scenes and God’s creatures big and small, although, I am sorry, I don’t paint loved ones likenesses.
Examples:
“My mothers favorite hymn is ‘In the Garden’ and one of her favorite things… I remember her working in her garden, she had beautiful yellow roses and she loved her bleeding hearts.”
“… Farm with memories… pops loved to sing… images attached”
