Bright Stripes Knitted Cables Baby Sleep Sack

Fun off set cables, bold stripes and bright colors make this knitted sleep sack a perfect gift for your little bundle of joy. The vivid stripes range in color from teal, periwinkle blue, medium blue, medium purple, deep pink and dark red. I made the collar a deep royal purple and the ties are crocheted in the same deep purple. The bottom can be kept closed or can be untied and left open, your choice. The sack measures 11″ wide when relaxed and stretches out to 16″ giving your babe plenty of room to wiggle and stretch while staying warm and cozy. It measures 19″ long. I knitted this sack using Bernat Worsted Weight Acrylic yarn and it is so soft and supple. The sack can be machine washed cold/cold temperatures with mild detergent and dried by machine on low/no heat setting. I recommend placing the sack in a washing bag or pillowcase to prevent snagging in the washing machine.
