Blue and Green Dual Pattern Crochet Baby Afghan and Cap Set

This adorable set is perfect for your little Prince! It is crocheted in bold stripes of lime green, periwinkle blue and bright white for an eye catching afghan. It is what I am calling a Dual Pattern Afghan. The yarn I used is Bernat Sweet Roll brand, which is a super soft worsted weight acrylic yarn in wide, uneven color patterns. No two skeins of this yarn are the same! As you look closely, you will see the uneven stripes make a unique and bold afghan. I added to that color pattern a crocheted pattern of varying stitches for a dual design. You will truly have a One of a Kind afghan. The afghan is thick and soft and very snuggle-able. Your little man will love it! I used the same yarn to make the cap. The cap is sized for newborn. It has a little give and stretch so, depending on the size of the little guy, could be worn for a few months.I made this with tired Mommas in mind: both afghan and cap are machine washable in warm/cold or cold/cold temperatures with a mild detergent and can be tumble dried on low/no heat. I recommend placing the set in a washing bag or large pillow case when washing so the afghan does not snag on the washing machine apparatus.
