Description

A cluster of blossoms captured in sterling silver, gathered in a circular wreath shape.  What could be more perfectly joyful? This is an ideal piece for a backyard wedding, a prom or date night.  It is perfect for any occasion you want to feel a little bit special or make an ordinary outfit prettier.

The three flowers have wire brushed  interiors to provide a nice contrast with the shiny silver found on the rest of the necklace.

Each element of the Bloomlette Cluster Necklace is crafted entirely by hand. I start with sterling sheet metal and saw out each flower shape. They are then formed and soldered to the wreath base, which is also hand crafted from silver wire.  Then the small fine silver balls are added to the inside of the blossoms, bringing the entire piece to life.

Flower style may vary slightly with the artist’s whim, but will follow the basic design.

The sterling silver oval chain is 1.7 mm in diameter. It is 18″ long (not including wreath) with small lobster clasp and small blossom counter weight.  The wreath is approximately 1 inch long and 1.25 inches at the widest point of the blossoms.

About Fluxweed Artisan Jewelry

Hi, I’m Emily,   the maker behind Fluxweed Artisan Jewelry. I run my tiny one-woman studio here in Portland, Oregon, where I spend my days happily immersed in metalsmithing, stone setting, and bringing new designs to life.

I’ve been an artist and maker for as long as I can remember—always trying my hand at “all the things.” I studied painting and printmaking at the Pacific Northwest College of Art, where I discovered a love for materials, textures, and experimentation. Years later, I found my true calling in jewelry making. Since then, I’ve studied silversmithing at Ghost Ranch in New Mexico, the Multnomah Arts Center, and taken specialized workshops in stone setting and metal casting.

What matters most to me is creating jewelry that feels personal, wearable, and full of joy. I love connecting with people, hearing their stories, and crafting pieces that become part of their everyday lives.  You can check out more of my work at www.fluxweedjewelry.com
