•Jeweled finger handle, with turquoise stones and gold trim

•It is unknown whether these are real turquoise stones

•If this painting was on canvas, it would be worth hundreds of dollars!

•The landscape scenery on porcelain was very popular with Japanese artists and designs of the period

•Has the Morimura “M” mark – a precursor to Noritake

•Scripted NIPPON mark indicates a production era of 1891 to 1921

•In 1921, US laws required that imports into the USA use English wordings, so Japan replaced the word Nippon

•Plate measures 6¼ inches in diameter

•From an estate collection of fine Asian items, this Morimura Nippon hand painted dish/plate is in very good condition
