What do you do when you find a stunning piece of printed organza that speaks to you as an artist? Well in my book, I find a way to embellish it and make it a true piece of art. This piece is done with two pieces of fabric, the overlay on top and there is a piece of gold striped fabric behind the organza overlay. I hand stitched all the petals of the rose with gold and silver metallic thread and then stitched in the shadowing on some of the petals. I also outlined in green metallic thread the lines in the leaves. This piece was then artfully framed in a professional manner to stand in an easel and be admired. It measures 9 1/2” w x 8” t. It’s certainly one of a kind, and it can be yours today.
