18-inch Doll Dress with Strawberry Pockets

Description

This cheerful dress is made for 18-inch-tall dolls, like American Girl Dolls. The main fabric is tiny red and white stripes. The bodice is lined in solid white. Both fabric are cotton. This is sleeveless. there are Eyelet shoulder ruffles that flutter over the upper arms. the back of the bodice the stripes are straight. The front halves are cut on the bias and make a sweetheart neckline when closed. The neckline is trimmed in baby piping that I made, The bodice is fully lined and sewn down with tiny stitches by hand. I made sure there are as many details like the children clothing I make. It opens in front with Velcro and has red heart shaped buttons. The skirt of the dress is gathered and trimmed with ruffled eyelet at the hemline. Makes it very cute. If you look at the the 2 different dolls modling it, notice the arm placement. The blonde doll is has her arms more to the side so the will not go in the pockets. She is from Walmart. The brunette Doll is from Target is a little smaller so her hands will go into the pockets and there is more movement in the doll. These dolls are not included. I just wanted to write about the sizes in case you were to go buy a doll.  I also make a sailor suit on another listing. This is just for the striped dress with the strawberry pockets I had to design and make. They are hand embroidered.
