Description

A sailor style suit for an 18-inch-tall doll. This detailed set is made out of gingham navy and white checks and white solid fabric. Both cotton. The sailor hat is white and fully lined. The brim is edged in navy piping and has many rows of stitching around it. There is an appliqued light coral color starfish. The top is sleeveless, main fabric the navy and white check. It has a white color with navy piping grosgrain ribbon. There is a insert with the check fabric cut on the bias and it is trimmed in white grosgrain ribbon. the back opens and closes with velcro. The shorts have an elastic waist, using the checks fabric, white grosgrain ribbon trims and appliqued starfish. This listing is for the 3-piece outfit only. Doll and doll shoes not included.

About Sugar Bug Baby Boutique Two

Hi. My name is Jeanette. I learned to sew by hand, even making my own doll dress patterns. By the time I turned 8 years old I was allowed to sew on the sewing machine. I also do hand embroidery, smocking, heirloom and French hand sewing. My husband and I moved to a farm in Oregon and raised two sons and many farm animals. I owned and operated a grooming shop for 25 years. But my love has always been sewing and needlework. I generally sew most days a week. I really enjoy sewing for babies, toddlers and girls up to size 6.
